PROOFREADING AND EDITING

Correcting, revising and editing texts is an essential part of the translation process, in order to ensure your translation has no language mistakes and causes the same effect on the reader as the original text.

➤ The process of proofreading and editing involves revising already translated documents in order to correct mistakes, make sure the translation is precise and accurate and reads well in the target language. 

​

➤ As well as making sure that the new text has no grammar or spelling mistakes, the proofreader makes sure the translation is appropriate for the recipient. 

​

➤ Proofreading and editing is not the same as Machine Translation Post Editing, which involves editing translations done using an automatic translation software, such as Google Translate. I translate all your texts from scratch and proofread and edit translations which are either my own work or that of other professional translators. 

​

➤ I will make sure your translations have no grammar or spelling mistakes, are coherent and consistent, read naturally in the target language and last but not least, achieve their goals.
